Lesley earned a BA in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from University of Colorado- Boulder and a MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. She is working to complete training in Applied Existential Psychotherapy (AEP) through the Boulder Psychotherapy Institute (BPI). She completed internships with Mental Health Partners as a crisis worker, The Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) as an intern counselor and with The Boulder Psychotherapy Institute (BPI). Lesley also works part-time as a relief worker with the Emergency Psychological Services (EPS) at Mental Health Partners, a non-profit organization located in Boulder, Colorado. She specializes in grief, trauma, addiction and attachment. She has worked with clients locally and from out of state. "I consider the therapeutic relationship to be, in the best scenario, conscious, and by association implicitly capable of the healing relationship wounds; the same wounds which cause us maladaptive and injurious behaviors and bring clients to therapy to understand themselves better. "
