Imago & Gestalt Relational Therapy Training

with Jaylynne Chase-Jacobsen, L.C.S.W.

This workshop integrates Imago relationship therapy with Gestalt therapy to provide a powerful and effective tool for working with couples or with singles on relationship issues.

Text Box: Learn to integrate Imago Relationship Therapy and Gestalt Therapy Techniques.
Practice experiential exercises for helping clients create intimacy and commitment.
Develop a method for setting an atmosphere of structure and safety.
Learn to deepen clients to family-of-origin issues to create lasting change.
Explore your own relational issues to enhance your knowledge and effectiveness.
Role-play difficult clients to gain an understanding of issues and techniques.
 
 
 
 
 

 

            

 

Where: 990 Poplar Avenue, Boulder CO 80304

Date: Friday afternoons twice a month, November - May

Date: 2:00-6:00 P.M.

Eligibility:  Mental Health Professionals and Psychology Graduate Students (Exceptions may be made

on an individual basis following an interview.)

Cost: $20 an hour or $80 per four-hour session (You are responsible for missed sessions.)

 

The Workshop LeaderJaylynne Chase-Jacobsen is a licensed clinical social worker, certified Gestalt therapist and certified Imago relationship therapist.  She is a senior training staff member the Boulder Psychotherapy Institute and has worked with individuals, couples and groups in Boulder for over 20 years. She is an adjunct faculty member at Naropa University. She works with individuals as well as couples on relationship issues. She also specializes in eating disorders, body image issues and trauma work. She offers individual and group supervision for mental health professionals.
